Practice & Membership

I created my new practice to address the specific needs of my patients. Many of them have shared their experiences with a fragmented, reactive healthcare system that does not do enough to address non–pregnancy-related women’s health concerns. As a result, women’s symptoms are frequently ignored and conditions are misdiagnosed or mistreated. I am particularly concerned that while we are finally addressing hormone replacement therapy we are overlooking critical aspects of women’s health, such as cardiac, cancer, musculoskeletal, and metabolic risks. It’s essential to view women’s health through a comprehensive lens. Moreover, quality of care often suffers under conventional insurance models that prioritize sick care over prevention. In response, I want to ensure that my patients receive leading-edge care that is both personalized and accessible. My new membership-based practice allows me to spend more quality time with my patients, and just as importantly, it enables me to focus on supporting their health beyond office visits. For example, I can provide a comprehensive wellness exam with advanced testing and craft a tailored plan for each patient. You will have access to high-quality clinical and wellness care, unhurried appointments, and expedited scheduling. Additionally, each member of my practice is paired with a dedicated Health Assistant to provide a range of services to ensure optimal convenience, such as scheduling support, medical record retrieval, and insurance advocacy.

My new practice represents more than just a way to deliver healthcare—it is at the forefront of a movement that prioritizes the patient-physician relationship, removing much of the friction women have felt in seeking the care they deserve. By limiting the number of patients I see, I can focus on supporting your whole health. On an annual basis, you’ll have more comprehensive screening with a lens towards longevity - more robust than a traditional well-woman visit - and a plan aimed at addressing your specific needs. Throughout the year, you’ll have access to unrushed office and virtual visits and hands-on coordination with specialists as needed.

A membership-based physician practice works on a subscription model where patients pay a fee for access to a range of healthcare services that go beyond typical insurance-covered care. Some of these services include:

  • Annual wellness exams. Each member receives a personalized annual wellness exam designed to address women's unique health needs and prioritizes longevity. The visit may include cardiovascular screening, cancer risk assessment, metabolic disease screening, bone health, sexual wellness, cognitive testing, nutrition consultation, and medication and supplement review. Testing will include advanced diagnostics as needed. You will receive a plan that emphasizes prevention and necessary treatment. (Note that third party services, including diagnostics and labs, are not included in membership fees but may be reimbursed through insurance depending on your plan.)
  • Access to in-person and virtual visits for medical and wellness services. In addition to focusing on preventative care, my practice is designed to support the broad range of conditions and needs women have, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), weight loss medication management, sexual wellness, incontinence, and the wide range of symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause like hair loss, genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), weight gain, insomnia, and bone loss through care offered by my practice and my trusted network of specialists.
  • Dedicated Health Assistant. Every member is assigned a Health Assistant who helps support convenience and continuity of care. They're available to help with medical record retrieval, scheduling visits with specialists, and courtesy billing for out of network services provided by my practice.
  • After-hours virtual urgent care and other member services. I have partnered with Monarch to provide services that remove the friction women often experience with today's health system. Members have access to after-hours virtual urgent care, medical record retrieval services, scheduling support, and courtesy billing for out of network services provided by Dr. Suzanne Gilberg.
  • Curated network of specialists and experts. I've developed a network of specialists, including clinical leaders, nutritionists, dieticians, pelvic floor therapists, mental health providers, and personal trainers, to ensure that my patients have access to experts who understand the unique needs of women. Through this network and my expertise, I support care across mental health, cardiology, cancer, nutrition, and more. As a member, you'll have direct access to me, whether in person or via telehealth. A full list of services covered under the membership fee is available by contacting [email protected]. Members typically incur no out-of-pocket costs for covered visits, though they may opt for non-covered procedures, paying only for those and any associated supplies like IUDs.

Daughters (up to age 26) of members are welcome to see Dr. Gilberg. The cost of an annual visit is $500 and follow up visits are $350.
